 | Hello -- | May 6, 2004 |
Welcome!! Thanks for stopping by. Please check out all my pages, and drop me a line to say hi. One of my passions is quilting - I will include pictures of my progress here. I am having big fun with these! I probably have 6 quilts in progress. hopefully all will be complete someday. I also like taking pictures - so maybe I will have some that you will enjoy!
| | Gracie was picked to be on a TV commercial for the little gym - she is the clown onthe right. She has been going there since she was about a year and a half. |

| | I made this quilt from me scraps - I only had to purchase the setting fabric....It is queen size |

| | Gracie picked out the fabrics for her birthday quilt.... |

| | This is a bigger version of the pattern - Glory Bound. Normally, you see it in civil war fabrics. I tried it in batiks in a queen size |

| | I have been working onthis for years - it finally completed |

| | JD received this quilt for Christmas. |

| | While in California visiting - I checked out a quilt shop.... surprise surprise... I particularly liked this pattern. I plan to purchase it and use some of my stash for my granddaughter a new twin quilt.
They were out of the pattern to sell, but still showed me a copy of it. It is one that looks difficult, but is not. |

| | Grace was over last week and we were able to spend the evening together. We had a great time. |

| | The first picture is what the pattern looks like-- the second what mine is at the moment!! |

| | I purchased a new 'hobby table' from Sams. This spurred me on to reorg my sewing room.
I love it.... |

| | Little JD's quilt top is ready to be quilted. They changed his name when he was born and I am not sure how to spell it -- bad grandma...
It is a tumbling block pattern with no Y seams. This is important to quilters -- much easier. I experimented with the square in a square method.
Joey will be born to our youngest - he will be our tenth grandchild. Amazing...to think that I am a grandma - much less with ten... |

| | Gracie received a new dress from a special friend - I think that she liked it! |

| | This is an easier way to do a traditional tumbling block pattern. It is a square in a square. |

| | Gracie's new trick - when you take her picture, she gives you a different personality |

| | We still need to change the switch plates and paint, but we have come a long way. |
Hope you are having a perfectly lovely day!
